Support group for men of color over 30 who have sex with other men.
Meets third Wednesdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
This is a 6 week support group for anyone 18 or older who is wrestling with the if’s, when’s, where’s and how’s of the coming out process as well as ways to establish and maintain healthy relationships in the LGBT community. Family, workplace, dating, self esteem and other concerns are explored in a safe and confidential environment. This support group usually runs in September and October. This group will provide LGBTQ-identified
individuals the opportunity to connect with others, share experiences
and discuss both personal and community issues. Gay Alliance staff
Jessica Cohen and Social Work Intern, Kelly Centola, will be on hand
to guide discussion as needed.
This group is open to adults ages 18 and up. Regular meeting time
will be Sundays from 4:30-6PM in the Gay Alliance Youth Community
Center. This group is free of charge and
confidential.
