Conference paper to state case on April 17 for LGBT studies at U.R.

The 16th Annual Susan B. Anthony Institute for Gender and Women’s Studies Graduate Conference is scheduled for April 17, at the University of Rochester, Hawkins-Carlson Room in Rush Rhees Library.


BJ Douglass, PhD. student, will be presenting a paper entitled “The Importance of Offering LGBTQ Studies Courses at the University of Rochester”.

This paper will be presented between 2-3:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided afterwards. Come to the event and help show the University that, in fact, there is support for this type of programming/curriculum.
