Pronoun Workshop (Morning Session)
July 16 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
This is a free workshop focusing on understanding the importance of proper pronoun use and tips for creating inclusive spaces where everyone is referred to respectfully. This fun and interactive workshop will be hosted by two facilitators of trans experience who are open to answering any and all of your questions in a safe and non-judgmental space, as well as provide tips for navigating through awkward situations involving misgendering and not knowing how an individual identifies. There will both a morning and evening session.
Appropriate Audience: Folks who are relatively new to LGBTQ+ identities and inclusion. If you have taken one of our trainings before, there may be some repeat. Please pass this on to friends and co-workers who may not have participated in one of our past trainings! Thanks so much!
Location: The LGBTQ Academy’s Education Center (Out Alliance 100 College Avenue. Rochester, NY 14607). There is free parking in the lot next to our building.
